Erode Grade Turmeric Powder is produced from carefully selected Curcuma longa L. rhizomes sourced from the Erode–Salem belt of Tamil Nadu, a region globally recognized for its consistent color and quality. The product is manufactured from double-polished Erode Finger Selection turmeric, finely ground to deliver a bright lemon-yellow appearance with a mild, earthy flavour profile. The powder contains naturally occurring curcumin in the range of 2.5–3.5%, with controlled moisture and ash levels to ensure stability and uniform performance. Particle size can be customized to customer-specified mesh sizes (typically 60–80 mesh), making the product suitable for diverse food processing and ingredient applications. Each batch is tested to meet defined limits for microbiological parameters, heavy metals, and pesticide residues, in line with EU and Codex standards. The product is non-GMO, free from artificial colours such as metanil yellow and lead chromate, and certified free from added starch or adulterants. Erode / Salem Turmeric Powder is widely used in seasonings, spice blends, ready-to-eat foods, sauces, bakery, and industrial food formulations where consistent colour, purity, and controlled granulation are required.
