Brazil's soybean exports in 2023 have reached a record high of over 100 million tons due to lower prices and increased demand from importing countries like China, as well as Argentina's failed soybean harvest. Despite unfavorable conditions, Brazil's soybean sowing progress is at 94.6% and the output is expected to break the record. Argentina's grain output is predicted to reach 137 million tons, with the main crops including 56 million tons of soybeans, 50 million tons of corn, and 14.5 million tons of wheat. India has banned the export of wheat, non-basmati white rice, and imposed restrictions on sugar exports, affecting nearly US$5 billion in export volume.
