Implementation of planting operations in 25 thousand hectares of pomegranate orchards in Iran

In an interview with ISNA, Zahra Jalili-Moghadam pointed out that the area under cultivation of pomegranate crops in Iran is about 91 thousand hectares, and stated: From this amount of area under cultivation, about 1.2 million tons of crops are harvested annually. He mentioned the distribution of pomegranate orchards in Iran and said: There are commercial pomegranate orchards in almost all provinces of the country, except for Hamedan province, and this garden product is produced and sent to domestic and foreign markets.
