Logistics: More than 51 million tons of Brazilian grains were exported through Amazonian ports in 2023

São Paulo, 01/17/2024 - Brazilian grain exports through Amazon ports in 2023 exceeded 51 million tons, according to the Association of Port Terminals and Cargo Transshipment Stations of the Amazon Basin (Amport). This is a growth of 22% compared to the 41.5 million tons moved by the Amazon Arc in 2022. “Despite the difficult year, in which we were challenged by the super drought that devastated the northern region of the country and other consequences of the crisis climate faced in Brazil, we reached, in long-haul operations, 37% of the total agricultural bulk exported through Brazilian ports.
