The price of duck meat is increasing in both the northern and southern regions of Vietnam due to high demand and decreased supply. The price of butter ducks in the north is popular at over 45,000 VND/kg, while the price of hybrid gourd ducks in the south is as high as 48,000 VND/kg. Similarly, the price of broiler chickens, especially white feathered industrial chickens, has sharply increased, with some areas selling them at about 33,000 VND/kg.
