Sudanese peanut expands the exports to Yemen replacing India

Yemen previously relied on its in-shell peanut supply from the UAE and India. As the local demand surged in 2019, the import from Sudan jumped by 4,472% making Sudan the largest supplier of in-shell peanut in Yemen. The country also imported more from China as it grew by 165% within a year, while import from India and the UAE has declined.
