The article highlights a significant initiative by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey, which has successfully raised 1.105 million scaled carp fry as part of the 'Fishing of Water Resources Project' at the Gölköy Aquaculture Production Facilities in Bolu. These fry have been transported to Eskişehir and Sakarya with the aim to boost the biodiversity of inland waters. The project targets the production of 5 million baby carp by 2024, which will be distributed across several provinces including Ankara, Kocaeli, Kırıkkale, Karabük, Bartın, Düzce, and Bolu, to enhance aquatic life and support fisheries.
