Pepper producer, Müslüm Gürsel, has pointed out a significant price disparity between the field and the market, with peppers being sold for at least 4 TL in markets, despite costing the producer much less. He criticizes the situation, stating that marketers are profiting from the labor of producers, who are not fairly compensated for their efforts. Gürsel provided an example where he incurred labor costs of 30 thousand TL but only received 50 thousand TL for 50-60 tons of pepper, highlighting the vast margin between the producer's expenses and the consumer price.
