Governor Ziya Polat celebrated Yozgat's status as a leading agricultural and animal husbandry city in Turkey, with its 440,000 sheep and goats and over 237,000 cattle. The city's potential in dairy farming is highlighted, with a capacity to store 35 tons of milk and plans to increase milk collection through 116 tanks. The Central Anatolian Development Agency has backed the city's projects to the tune of around 200 million liras since 2010.
