14 companies exported mandarins from Peru in March of this year

(Agraria.pe) In March 2025, Peru exported 4,458 tons of mandarins for US$5.05 million, reflecting a five-fold increase in volume and a four-fold increase in value compared to the same month of the previous year. Furthermore, the average price was US$1.13 per kilogram (-7%). Fourteen exporting companies participated in this market, with Consorcio de Productores de Fruta S.A. standing out as the main player with 39% of sales; Procesadora Laran S.A.C., with 33%; and Central San Luis S.A.C., with 10%. Peruvian mandarins reached 15 international destinations in March 2025. The Netherlands is consolidated as the main buyer, accounting for 55% of exports. Canada follows with 16%; and the United Kingdom with 10%. US$2.77 million worth of 2,386 tons were exported to the Netherlands, with an average price of US$1.16 per kilogram.
