The Van' Metropolitan Municipality in Özalp district has distributed 1400 fruit saplings to local farmers for free, as part of a program aimed at boosting economic income. The saplings, including walnut, apple, apricot, pear, jujube, chestnut, grapevine, and almond trees, were delivered to the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and attracted a great deal of interest from farmers. The municipality is providing a 50 percent grant for the initiative, which aims to encourage fruit farming and produce high-quality products.
