Researchers at the Azov-Black Sea branch of the VNIRO Institute have discovered 19 potential fish farms in the western part of the Rostov region. A survey found that the ponds are teeming with fish, including goldfish, rudd, bleak, river perch, roach, Don gudgeon, sand goby, carp, Siberian spike, and pike perch. The conditions are favorable for fish reproduction, suggesting that aquaculture farms could be established in these areas.
