A plant for deep processing of wheat and peas is set to begin construction in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan this fall. The project is a collaboration between Qatari company Hassad Food, Turkish company Tiryaki, and the Baiterek holding. The plant will have a design grain processing capacity of up to 250 thousand tons of wheat and 100 thousand tons of peas annually. The products will be primarily exported to non-CIS countries.
