2024-25 season: Chilean fruit shipments grow in volume and value

According to the new fruit bulletin from Odepa (Office of Agricultural Studies and Policies), so far in the 2024-2025 season (September - December), US$ 9.33 billion FOB worth of fruit have been exported to the world, with a growth of 26.5% compared to the previous season, which was the largest in the last 20 years. 67.7% of the exported value corresponds to shipments of fresh fruit, of which US$ 1.79 billion FOB were exported, 40.7% above the figure in value of the previous season at the same date, that is, US$ 516 million more exported this season and in volume the figure rose 49%. Dried fruits represented 11.6% of exports, US$ 306.3 million increased in value by 27.6%, US$ 66 million more exported, but decreased in volume by 10%.
