The article highlights the positive aspects of Brazil's agricultural sector, particularly grain production, which has almost reached 11 million tons of soybeans. However, the sector faced challenges such as low water levels in the Paraguay River, which affected navigation and caused delays and cost overruns. Despite these challenges, the Paraná River remained navigable due to dredging efforts by the private sector. The global context has kept prices low, but Brazil's agricultural sector has still managed to generate over USD 4 billion in foreign currency from soybean exports, with additional income from corn, wheat, and sesame.
