In 2025, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) achieved a historic milestone by consolidating the opening of 507 markets for Brazilian agribusiness products since the beginning of the administration, the largest advancement ever recorded in the sector. The result reflects the integrated action of the Secretariat of Commerce and International Relations (SCRI), with coordinated work among its departments and the strategic support of the network of 40 agricultural attachés in 38 countries. Throughout the year, the SCRI concentrated efforts on expanding and diversifying exports, negotiating sanitary and phytosanitary protocols, defending Brazil's commercial and regulatory interests, international technical cooperation, as well as commercial promotion and attracting investments.
