We will concentrate all policy capabilities for fisheries innovation. We will focus on modernizing the fleet and fisheries. We will create smart aquaculture clusters. We will expand the Blue Credit pilot project. We will do our best to prevent fishing accidents. Now, our fisheries and fishing communities are facing more severe and complex crises than ever before. The physical changes in the sea are far outpacing our expectations, and the internal dynamics that have supported the fisheries are reaching their limits due to rapid aging and a shortage of manpower. The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries aims to view these changes in the times not as crises threatening the existence of the fisheries, but as a "signal flare for a major turnaround" to improve the industry's quality.
