The Southeast Anatolian Dried Fruits and Products Exporters' Association reported $40 million in dried fruit exports in October. Pistachios were the top export at $104,000, followed by dried apricots with $92,437,000. The majority of these exports, 113 million 752 thousand dollars, were made to European Union countries. Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom were the top three buying countries. The association represents approximately 17% of Turkey's dried fruit and product exports.
