25% drop in the export of sunflower meal from Bulgaria

The export of sunflower meal from Bulgaria since the beginning of the season (September 2023 - April 2024) is behind by 25% compared to the previous one. To date, Bulgarian companies have exported more than 0.38 Mt of scrap, which puts the export in second place after the previous season's record. The exported quantities are 80 Kt more than the 5-year average value for this period in the amount of 0.3 Mt. More than 0.35Mt were exported to third countries, with China stealing the lion's share with 0.33Mt. For the same period in the previous season, we exported 0.41 Mt to the Asian country out of a total of 0.45 Mt to third countries. After China, Algeria ranks second with 12 ct.
