2.8 tons of Yingkou 'Meizao' cherries have been exported to Vietnam via Pingxiang Port, Guangxi, after being qualified by Bayuquan Customs. The company, Yingkou Shengyuan Fresh Fruit Economic and Trade Co., Ltd., owns a cherry planting area of 23,000 mu in Gaizhou City, Yingkou, Liaoning Province, and produces over 18,000 tons of cherries annually. The preferred 'Meizao' and 'Samituo' varieties are known for their large fruit size, high sweetness, and firm flesh, and are favored in Southeast Asian markets. In the first quarter, Bayuquan Customs saw a significant increase in inspected cherry exports, with a total of 61.72 tons and a value of 4.5192 million yuan, marking year-on-year growth of 333.43% and 152.13% respectively.
