Ukrainian farmers are facing unique challenges as they prepare for the new planting season, with a significant portion of last year's corn crop still unharvested. Approximately 300,000 hectares, or 420,000 football fields, worth of corn remains in the fields, unharvested. This situation is not only affecting the storage and quality of the agricultural products but also influencing the market as farmers are prioritizing the sale of last year's harvest to fund the next planting campaign and create storage space for the new harvest.
