Peru has become the top global supplier of blueberries, surpassing Chile, Spain, and the United States, through collaboration between the public and private sectors. Blueberries represent 14% of Peru's agricultural exports and have experienced significant growth, reaching $1.3 billion in exports in 2022. The main destinations for Peruvian blueberries are the United States, the European Union, China, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom, and efforts are being made to expand into markets like China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
