4 percent of Türkiye's quince production is from Denizli

DENİZLİ (IHA) – Quince harvest has come to an end in Denizli, which has an important place in the production of medicinal aromatic plants and fruits in Turkey. Thanks to Denizli's climate characteristics, many medicinal and aromatic plants, especially thyme, pomegranate and quince, continue to maintain their important place in fruit cultivation in Turkey. The ongoing quince harvest in Kaklık District of Honaz district has come to an end. Denizli Provincial Deputy Director of Agriculture and Forestry Saffet Üge, technical personnel from the district directorate and quince producers attended the quince harvest in Honaz district. Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of Agriculture and Forestry Saffet Üge shared information about quince production in Denizli.
