PepsiCo's Agrovita initiative has made significant strides in promoting regenerative agriculture, benefiting 363 small farmers in southeast Mexico by improving the economy for 40% of banana and cocoa producers across 4,488 hectares. In alignment with Earth Day, the company has set ambitious goals to extend regenerative practices to its entire 2.8 million hectare agricultural footprint by 2030, ensure 100% sustainable corn sourcing by the same year, and reduce plastic usage by 60% by 2040. Currently, 88% of PepsiCo's beverage packaging is recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable, underscoring its commitment to a sustainable and regenerative food system.
