Vietnam is projected to surpass its agricultural export target of 42.5 billion USD in 2021 by exporting over 44 billion USD worth of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products. Despite COVID-19 disruptions, the ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development reports that production and business activities have recovered, with key commodities such as seafood, wood, vegetables, rice, coffee, rubber, and cashews expected to bring in significant revenues. Businesses like Vinanutrifood and Trung An Hi-tech Agriculture are making strides in the European and Korean markets, while the US market demands breath milk and seafood products. The cashew industry in particular is on track to exceed 3.6 billion USD in exports for the year.
