The Antalya region in Turkey is experiencing a significant decrease in vegetable supply due to a drop in greenhouse production caused by winter conditions. The Vice President of the Turkish Carriers' Federation, Sedat Recep Toktürk, estimates a 50% decrease in yield. Although some vegetables are stored in cold storage and their prices are not expected to fluctuate significantly, other soil-grown vegetables may see a price increase. The transportation and logistics industry is also facing challenges, with some products already experiencing price hikes of up to 50%. The production of greenhouse crops is not expected to improve until mid-March.
