The Department of Agriculture, Water, Livestock and Fisheries, in collaboration with the agri-food cooperatives of the Valencian Community, has carried out the withdrawal of 50,000 kilos of expired phytosanitary products in a joint action to guarantee environmental safety and the sustainability of the agricultural sector. The Minister of Agriculture, Miguel Barrachina, states that this initiative "is part of the commitment of the Valencian Government to a safer, more responsible, and environmentally respectful agriculture, to also facilitate farmers in the correct management of these residues and compliance with environmental protection regulations."
