Turkey's chili pepper exports increased by 9.54 percent in the first half of this year, reaching $5.44 million. A total of 1,600 tons of chili peppers were sent to 86 countries, with Germany being the top destination, followed by the UK, the Netherlands, the USA, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The increase in chili pepper exports is seen as a positive development for Şanlıurfa, the homeland of isot, despite the challenges faced by farmers due to natural disasters.
