Sea snail exports from Turkey have increased by 23 percent in quantity and 95 percent in value in the first six months of this year compared to the same period last year. Sea snails, which are not consumed in Turkey and are caught solely for export, received the highest demand from the Republic of South Korea. The Black Sea region accounted for a significant portion of Turkey's sea snail exports, earning $4.74 million from exports to South Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Georgia.
