9.2 million dollars of chili pepper export from Turkey to 114 countries in 2021

The export of chili peppers, one of the indispensable flavors of the dishes produced in Turkey, increased by 21.8% in 2021 compared to the previous year and reached 9.2 million dollars. According to the information compiled by the AA correspondent from the Southeastern Anatolian Exporters' Associations (GAİB), 7 million 570 thousand dollars of chili pepper exports were made from Turkey in 2020.
