The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has proposed introducing tariff quotas for the export of canned fish and seafood from certain regions of Russia until the end of 2024. The draft specifies that the quota for the Kaliningrad region may be 4.4 thousand tons for canned fish and 100 tons for canned seafood, and the use of tariff quotas will require a one-time export license issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The measure is intended for exports to countries that are not members of the Eurasian Economic Union.
