In the evening of August 12, at the Hlobyne Sugar Plant of the agricultural holding Astarta, during the execution of scheduled repair works by a contractor, a fire broke out in part of the old pomace removal gallery. This is reported on the company's website, writes APK-Inform.
As stated, the fire was promptly localized and completely extinguished by the State Emergency Service, which is also conducting an examination to determine the causes of the incident.
"There are no casualties. The enterprise is operating in regular mode, and preparation for the production season is continuing according to the plan," the company emphasized.
