The tomato harvest for processing in Ukraine is forecast at 550,000 tons, which corresponds to last year's indicators. This is the forecast from the World Processing Tomato Council (WPTC). Negative weather conditions had a minor impact on the harvest, with night frosts damaging some early plantings, but most plants recovered. Adverse weather conditions and frosts that covered all of Ukraine in the spring did not significantly affect this year's tomato harvest for processing. These vegetables are expected to be harvested at approximately the same level as last year. According to experts, all tomatoes were planted on schedule or with minor delays.
