A historic step in Northern Aegean Olive Oil Licensed Warehousing: The first signatures have been made

In Ayvalık, which boasts one of the world's top three olive oils, the initial signatures for the establishment of the North Aegean Olive Oil Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Joint Stock Company were made at a ceremony hosted by the Ayvalık Chamber of Commerce. A significant step was taken for "licensed warehousing in olive oil" to improve storage conditions that compromise quality in the olive oil sector, meeting the year-round needs of producers, industrialists, traders, and exporters. Representing a first in the world and in Turkey, licensed warehousing in olive oil is coming to life with the support of the Balıkesir Governorship South Marmara Development Agency Coordination and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.
