The company has invested 3.3 billion rubles in the project, the regional government's press service reports. The farm will be located in Novoaleksandrovka village in the Tambov District. The project will complement the existing dairy farm with 2,200 head. "When reaching full capacity, total milk yields will double and amount to about 20,000 tons per year," said the company's CEO Lyudmila Valova. The farm plans not only to produce milk but also to develop a meat direction. "The new farm will produce almost 350 tons of meat, as well as sell about 1,300 heifers and calves for further raising," Valova added.
