Within a week, 137 outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) in wild boars were confirmed in Poland, with 168 animals testing positive for the virus. The majority of the outbreaks were in the Pomeranian province, and no provinces were affected that were previously ASF-free. So far in 2024, 2,044 ASF outbreaks in wild boars and 44 in pigs have been confirmed in Poland.
