Federal Courts in Rosario have initiated a trial for agrochemical contamination in the Buenos Aires town of Pergamino, which targets seven producers accused of violating the ordinance regulating the application of these inputs, as well as two former public officials, for omission of mandatory controls. The case, which began in 2018 and was originally handled by the Federal Court of San Nicolás, revives the tension that has reigned for several years over one of the most important agricultural areas in the country.
