Cucurbit aphid-borne yellows virus is present in Asia, Africa, North and South America, and several European countries including Poland. The virus was found in ground zucchini crops in the Wielkopolskie and Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeships in Poland in 2018-2019. In addition, other viruses were also detected in some of the tested plants. However, this virus is not considered a quarantine pest in the European Union and therefore is not targeted for control measures in EU countries.
