Turkey: A new step for meat prices from ESK

ESK, the institution responsible for market regulation, announced updates to the prices of calves and sheep. The price for 1st quality calf is 100 TL/Kg, with 2nd and 3rd quality calves priced at 88 TL/Kg and 85 TL/Kg respectively. Sheep prices have also increased, with lamb priced at 94 TL/Kg and other lamb at 88 TL/Kg. ESK stated that the red meat product stocks are currently above the required needs, indicating a balanced supply-demand situation in the meat markets, and assured consumers that they will continue to monitor the markets and take necessary measures as needed.
