A new corn deep processing plant with an annual capacity of 100 thousand tons is going to be built in the Shardara industrial zone, Turkestan region, Kazakhstan. The project investors met with Yermek Kenzhekhanuly, the deputy akim of the region, to discuss the plant's construction and production prospects. The investors also committed to providing raw materials and indicated that farmers in the Shardara region would be able to supply corn. Kairat Zholdybay, the akim of the district, pledged to support the project by addressing any infrastructure-related challenges that may arise during the plant's construction.
