But the translation into street language should be that more than two years of Javier Milei's government have passed and in that period - except for trying to normalize the macroeconomy and eliminate barriers to exports - the long pending agenda that the livestock and meat chain has has not been addressed. Most of that agenda, much to the dislike of the current libertarian officials, began during the Cambiemos government, between the years 2015 and 2019, and unfortunately was cut short when Alberto Fernández's administration reinstated meat export quotas in 2021.
