A report paints a bleak picture of the fishing situation in Tangier, Morocco

Tangier: Mohamed Abtash An official report issued by the interests of the National Office for Fishing painted a bleak picture regarding the situation of marine fishing on the coasts of Tangiers, and the Mediterranean region in general. The catches of octopus, pelagic fish and others decreased by between 40 and 20 percent, which is a precedent of its kind, with which the local coasts are threatened with losing their fishing characteristics and turning into beaches for tourism only as a result of several factors.
