In the Western Black Sea region, a significant catch of anchovies has been reported off the coast of Akçakoca, leading to a bustling fishing activity with numerous trucks and lorries at the Akçakoca Fishing Shelter. Fisherman Tuncay Gür highlighted the plentiful supply of anchovies, with smaller ones being sent to flour mills and larger ones to markets. An abundance of bluefish is also anticipated in the Black Sea. Current fish market prices are 100 TL for anchovy, 150 TL for horse mackerel, 250 TL for red mullet, and 200 TL for sea bream.
