Adding a popular Vietnamese fruit is being exported primarily to China.

Recently, the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) issued Announcement No. 251 of 2025 on the phytosanitary requirements for fresh pineapples imported from Vietnam. The announcement was issued based on the current legal regulations of China and the protocol on the export of fresh pineapples signed between GACC and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Vietnam. Conditions for exporting pineapples to China Accordingly, to ensure smooth customs clearance, all planting gardens and packaging facilities participating in the export must be registered and approved by the competent authorities of both countries. The list of units granted codes will be published and updated periodically on the website of the General Administration of Customs of China.
