[Agricultural, Fisheries and Livestock Newspaper=Reporter Nam-jong Lee] The Korea Institute of Agricultural Technology Promotion, together with the Korea Pesticide Analysis Council (KOPAC), is embarking on revising the 'Pesticide Process Analysis Methods' to reflect advanced analysis technology. This joint research aims to further refine and enhance the quality control standards for pesticides in response to the rapid advancements in analytical instruments and manufacturing technologies. The Pesticide Process Analysis Methods, established in 1999, are based on the Pesticide Management Act and define the standard procedures for inspecting the composition, content, stability, etc., of pesticides. However, with the launch of various new products in different formulations and the introduction of advanced analytical equipment, it has been pointed out that the existing standards are insufficient to meet the latest quality requirements.
