Advances in crops gain momentum with favorable weather

The progress of Argentina's agricultural campaign has gained new momentum in recent weeks, driven by favorable water conditions in most of the productive areas. The latest data indicate an improvement in the pace of planting summer crops and a consistent advance in the harvest of winter crops, with positive effects on the national production potential. Soybean sowing reached 58.6% of the projected area of 17.6 million hectares, following a significant weekly advance. Most of the crops are in normal to good condition, with a wide predominance of adequate to optimal moisture levels. The first soybean areas are already recording the beginning of reproductive stages in the main production centers, while the second soybean accounts for 25% of the planted area.
