Affected by U.S. anti-dumping and countervailing duties, shrimp supply from major supplier countries decreased in January

In January 2024, trade figures fell to 131 million pounds from 152 million pounds in the same period the previous year. This decline was seen in key trading partners such as India, Ecuador, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and China, with supply decreases ranging from -5.7% to -24.4%. However, Mexico and Argentina bucked the trend, experiencing supply increases of 7.9% and 6.1% respectively.
