Soybean sales by producers exceeded 9 million tons last September, the highest volume recorded for a single month and an absolute record in commercialization. This is according to the September 2025 Agroindustrial Monitor, prepared for the Chamber of the Oilseed Industry (Ciara) and the Center of Cereal Exporters (CEC), which specified that the peak of operations occurred in the week of September 24 following Decree 682/2025 with which the Government suspended withholdings for the cereal-oilseed complex until October 31 or until US$7000 million in export records were reached. According to estimates by market analyst Javier Preciado Patiño, producers would have around seven million tons of soybeans left to sell, equivalent to about US$3000 million in merchandise value. "It's not much money, but that's the number it gives. The export program is quite covered," he noted.
