According to the ‘How Much?’ survey by the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Office, although the peak season for kimchi has passed, it is expected that small-scale kimchi demand will continue until the end of this month. In this context, the prices of major kimchi vegetables are showing strong increases. Furthermore, compared to three weeks ago, napa cabbage (one bunch) is traded at 5,870 won, garlic (1 kg) at 16,000 won, and onions (1 kg) at 2,400 won, showing price increases of 2.1%, 2.9%, and 3.0%, respectively.
