Agricultural producers in the Okhtyr, Rome, and Sumy districts have initiated the sowing of early grain and leguminous crops for 2024, as per the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Sumy Regional State Administration. By March 28, 2024, 2.3 thousand hectares have been sown with spring crops such as wheat, barley, peas, and oats in Sumy Oblast. The total area planned for these crops in 2024 is 331,000 hectares, indicating a significant agricultural activity in the region aimed at enhancing grain and legume production.
